Had Lasik yesterday, and it was definitely something new. I never had devices touching my eyes like that before. My first time wearing sugery costume. Before the doctor proceeded, he placed an eyelid holder called the speculum to remind me not to blink. Throughout the whole procedure, I was instructed to focus on a red blinking light above me. The weirdest part was when my eyeball was sucked, and my eye blacked out for about 10 seconds. After which my eye was lasered. Interesting!
After I was done, both eyes stinged so much that I could hardly open my eyes, and that was when my mom became my walking stick. I feel grateful. Without her this wouldn't have been possible. Was given sleeping pills to sleep the pain away. Now it's perfect. Next week my elder brother is gonna go thru this sh*t! I will be there.
